Become a Jr Lifeguard! This camp takes components from the Canadian Swim Patrol, Bronze Star and Bronze Medallion courses to teach children lifesaving and lifeguarding skills. Campers will participate in a variety of games and activities as well as deep water drills and competitions, in a fun and safe environment. Thursday will be a Cobourg Beach Day! The camper is required to be a strong, competent swimmer who can swim at least 50m unaided, tread water for at least 1 min or has swimmer 3 or above. Campers can do a Jr. Lifeguard Skill Assessment at the Jack Burger Sports Complex prior to registration to gain the required prerequisite.
