Description

This year the previously separate Counselors and Leaders in Training have been combined into 1 two-week program designed to develop skills essential to working with children. Now called the CIT program, participants will learn day camp procedures, HIGH FIVE fundamentals, program planning and how to work with campers in a fun and interactive environment. This program helps build teamwork and communication skills, supporting youth in becoming more well-rounded leaders. To gain the certificate of completion, participants must attend the full 2 weeks, actively participate, and act as a role model within the camps. Additionally, a minimum of 40 hours of volunteer service is required to be completed before the end of this years summer day camp season.
