Students will learn the fundamentals of crochet, beginning with choosing the right materials down to joining and finishing a piece. All basic stitches plus a fancy popcorn stitch will be covered as students create a small patchwork "quilt" of crocheted "Granny Squares" which can be added on to indefinitely to create a blanket, scarf, pillow cover etc.
