Gather your family for a frightfully fun art adventure with teaching artist Fry! Together, you’ll imagine and bring to life creepy crawlies, monsters, and fantastical critters of every shape and size. Begin by brainstorming a blueprint and inventing imaginative backstories for your one-of-a-kind creature. Then, working as a team, build sturdy armatures, layer on textures, and experiment with materials like recycled objects, fabric, and paint to create horns, wings, tentacles—or whatever your monster needs to thrive! From chimeras to zombies, your family’s creature will be as unique as your collective imagination. Why join? This collaborative workshop is all about bonding through shared creativity, storytelling, and hands-on making. Each family group must include at least one adult and may bring up to three additional attendees. Add additional family members for $5. (ages 7+).
