In this family-friendly workshop, DJ Ambush takes you on a journey through the history and art of mixtapes—how they shaped storytelling in the ‘80s and ‘90s, their pop culture comeback, and how DJs use them to set the vibe. With DJ Ambush’s guidance, your family will curate the ultimate road trip playlist, packed with songs that spark memories, fuel adventure, and make every mile more fun. You’ll leave with a digital playlist to take anywhere loaded onto a cassette tape inspired flash drive—and for a retro twist, we’ll record it onto a real cassette tape to be shared after the workshop. Whether you're gearing up for a big trip or just dreaming of one, this workshop is the perfect way to create a soundtrack for the summer, together.
