Gather around the table for a playful, hands-on workshop where your family becomes a creative team of storytellers, illustrators, and publishers! Together, you’ll explore the art of zine-making—a DIY way to create your own small magazine—while celebrating the recipes that bring you together. Using paper, markers, pens, and photos, families will design a recipe zine filled with personal touches: handwritten recipes, colorful illustrations, and treasured anecdotes about cooking and eating together. Guided by teaching artist Teeny Conway, you’ll capture the flavors, stories, and traditions that make your family unique, turning them into a collaborative keepsake. At the end of the workshop, each family will leave with their zine template and 10 printed copies to share with friends and loved ones—a lasting reminder of creativity, collaboration, and the special memories made in the kitchen. Share a copy as part of your annual holiday cards or at a family gathering. Each family group must include at least one adult and may bring up to three additional attendees.
