Visit Historic Yates Mill County Park for a guided tour of the historic gristmill, one of the oldest buildings in Wake County! A Spanish language interpreter will join our English-speaking staff to translate the tour into Spanish. Discover the history and inner workings of the mill, where corn was ground into cornmeal and wheat was ground into flour for almost 200 years! There is no pre-registration; this is first-come, first-served. We encourage you to arrive inside the park visitor center 20 minutes before the tour to sign up. Limit: 20 people. FREE.
