In this hands-on class, you’ll go far beyond pass/fail results. We’ll break down what each gas really represents — HC, CO, CO₂, O₂, and NOx — and how their combined patterns reveal combustion efficiency, air/fuel ratio problems, timing faults, and even mechanical issues. Over two sessions (4 hours each), students will create real faults, capture gas readings, and interpret them to trace the root cause like a pro. You’ll learn how to use 5-gas data to verify ignition, fuel, and mechanical faults — not just emissions failures — and connect live readings with scan tool data, vacuum readings, and waveform patterns. This training is designed for B- to A-level technicians ready to sharpen their analytical skills and learn to see inside the combustion chamber using exhaust chemistry. Students earn a Master Automotive Training Certificate of Completion.
