Description

Create colorful papers with acrylic paint. You'll be shown how to create interesting textures and patterns and you'll have an opportunity to create your own collection of painted and textured papers to use in your art such as collage, decorative cards, art journaling, and other mixed media projects. Take this workshop by itself or also sign up for "Techniques Using Acrylic and Collage" where you'll have the chance to use your collage papers to make beautiful compositions on canvas. This is a a fun and playful workshop. Some materials are supplied including blank paper, paint, brushes and texturing tools.

Supplies to bring: Sponge roller with a handle. Sponge 4” to 6” wide. These can be purchased at a hardware store. 8” to 10” plastic or paper plates, paper towels, one or two wide mouth water containers.Optional: Plastic stencils, Decorative rubber stamps, any texturing tools or other supplies you already have. Paper, paint and brushes will be supplied.
