Tom Talks: What are We Conserving and Why?

Lost Valley Visitor Center • Route 31 & Harts Road RingwoodIL  60071 Organized by McHenry County Conservation District

About this event

Description

Tom is the sort of person who lies awake at night and wonders what he's doing and why he's doing it. Not every night, of course, but if we want others to join the conservation movement, lots and lots of others, maybe it’s time for a bit of introspection. For this purpose, we meet with three silly characters who will do the thinking for us—or at least get us started. They are an early Homo sapiens, a talking snail, and a well-meaning but slightly stuffy conservation bureaucrat.
Once you've signed up, we'll send you a virtual meeting invitation with instructions on how to join the webinar. If you're not able to make it, we'll be recording these webinars so you can view them afterwards on our @DiscoverMCCD YouTube channel under the Tom Talks playlist.
These are free and open to anyone.

Please contact Jackie Bero at jbero@mccdistrict.org or (815) 219-1549 if you have any questions or recommendations for future Tom Talks topics.
