Join us on the first Friday of each month this summer for an evening of music and nature. Bring a picnic dinner to enjoy the beautiful view from Lost Valley Visitor Center patio and stay for a free concert from talented regional musicians. No glass containers. Concert will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather.
The Mill Creek Jumble is an Americana/folk/string band out of Grayslake, Illinois. It is comprised of six members of which five of them are current or former educators! This group came about six years ago when Don and Bryan (guitar player and banjo player respectively) got together to start jamming for fun. Over time that spiraled into a full 6 piece group that enjoys playing at local breweries in the Lake County Libation Trail just about once a month. The Mill Creek Jumble features guitar, banjo, violin, mandolin, bass, harmonica, and some auxiliary percussion. We play a smattering of tunes from Old Time music to contemporary covers, as well as some originals. We play for fun, but truth be told, we really play for your enjoyment! We hope you enjoy our performance, and please check us out on Facebook and Instagram! We hope to release some original music by mid-summer 2025.
This is a free special event and all ages are welcome. Registration is not required. Children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
