Join research ecologist Tom Simpson and Colonel Palmer House Supervisor Sarah Taylor for a guided hike at Glacial Park!
Trees have been my companions and confidants for the last 45 years. When little in life makes sense, a walk in the woods makes sense. And like good friends, you never know the trees completely: there is always a surprise in store if you wait, look closely, and ponder. We will look at the diversity of woody plants in Glacial Park, learn how to tell one from the other, and how their presence reflects the natural and human history of the place.

This event will happen rain or shine, so please come dressed appropriately for the weather.
