This 36-hour advanced course is intended for students with prior MIG welding experience or those who have completed MIG I. The course focuses on advanced machine setup and calibration, complex weld joint preparation, and multi-pass welding techniques using both hard wire and flux core MIG processes. Safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are emphasized during the first session. Students will gain hands-on experience to refine their skills for industrial applications. Upon successful completion, students may qualify for employment opportunities with several local businesses seeking trained welders. Students must supply their own safety glasses, welding gloves, and reinforced-toe footwear.
