The first Saturday of October is all about bikes! It is also recognized at International Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day. Beginner and intermediate group rides will begin at 9:00 am. We will warm up on the skills loop prior to heading out for an ability-specific group ride. Feel free to ride at your own pace. All youth who have not registered for the Mountain Bike Club should be accompanied by a supervising adult. At 10:30 am the Rodeo begins with a safety check, compliments of Carilion Wheeled Sports Safety. There will be bike games, a skills course and a short track race suitable for bikes and balance bikes.
