Description
Our Martial Arts program offers a unique experience combining discipline through martials arts with a focus on promoting excellence in our students’ physical, mental, and emotional life. Our approach is about self-discipline, self-respect, respect towards others, and most of all, “honor.” This class will teach each student that Martial Arts is more than learning how to fight: it is learning how to live. This class will focus on combining all that they have learned from the previous class to the practical use of Martial Arts. They will learn how to combine their blocks, kicks, and punches into techniques. They will learn Katas to improve form, specialized drills to improve power, speed and accuracy of their kicks. They will participate in freestyle sparring and learn tournament fighting. This class does merge with the first class for the last 30 minutes to give the students time to warm up and train with the beginners. All students must be in class on time as punctuality and attendance are part of our grading system. A black Karate Gi is required for the classes, so please see the instructor
