Thomas Cykana, Senior Director of Global Collaborations at HOKA

Founded in 2014, MAAP quickly earned a cult following by merging aesthetics and performance in cycling apparel. Founders Jarrad Smith and Oliver Cousins previously explored the worlds of surfing and skateboarding, giving them a deep understanding of how sport can seamlessly influence streetwear culture beyond just athletes.

“We’re seeing more and more crossover between fashion and endurance sports, and that speaks to a broader desire to get outside and incorporate movement into our everyday lives,” said Misha Glisovic, MAAP Chief Creative Officer. “We see both MAAP and HOKA as brands that prioritize performance while creating a ripple effect that extends beyond our respective sports, ultimately bridging the gap between lifestyle consumers and dedicated athletes.”
