MH - The shoe’s outsole seems like it might wear down quickly. I’d like to see some deeper lugs for extended wear and more grip on wet surfaces.
Final Thoughts
While relatively new to the road running scene, Salomon certainly knew what they were doing when they designed the aero blaze. These shoes are light and responsive enough for tempos and speed work, yet have plenty of cushioning for longer runs. With a comfortable step-in feel and a breathable engineered mesh upper, these shoes are ready for all-day wear.
The Aero Blaze features a Contagrip outsole with a cutout in the middle to reduce the shoe’s weight. The outsole doesn’t seem to be the most durable, but it offers a stability that many max-cushioned shoes do not.
