Description
"Building a Balanced Personal Workout".
We will be discussing the importance of using balanced conditioning, sometimes called "reciprocal muscle training" workouts to reduce injury, create muscle balance, strengthen correct posture, and create a visually attractive, toned body. We will discuss major muscle group pairings (agonist/antagonist and the backup synergists). We will use weights and stretch tubes to demonstrate how to balance a commonly "mis-trained" area. We will focus on how to tell if you are hitting the targeted muscle areas. A basic reciprocal muscle resistance training example program (printout) will be provided.
