OVERVIEW In this class, Coach candidates will learn to master the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, safety protocols, coaching techniques, and much more under the guidance of NRA National Coaching Development Staff. This course is endorsed by Civilian Marksmanship Program, Scholastic Pistol Program and USA Shooting. Level 1 Coaches must be at least age 18. Juniors age 15-17 may attend the school to become an NRA Junior Trainer by completing this two-day course of classroom instruction and practical exercises. Classes are conducted wherever and whenever an individual or organization agrees to sponsor a class.
