Description

Sit back and enjoy the comedy film "Cool Runnings" about the first Jamaican bobsled team competing in the 1988 Winter Olympics. Bring a blanket and chair to the program. Pick-up and drop-off at Park de la Cruz Community Center (3901 Landis Street, 92105). BBQ dinner will be provided before the movie.

Number of current participants is limited due to impacts of parks and recreation hiring freeze. Please join the waitlist if the program becomes full. Participants will be taken off the waitlist if additional staff are available.

The Summer Nights program is for Kick Back Club, Social Motion Club, and Independent Club members. The group is for teens and adults with a cognitive impairment. It is designed to increase leisure independence, community functioning and build social skills through experiential opportunities within the community and at recreation centers. Register early, space is limited. Must have assessment of file prior to attending the outing.
