For private lessons you must register at least 24 hours in advance.
All lessons are 1/2 hour in length (no group or semi-private lessons offered at this time). Please do not book back to back lessons without instructor's permission.
This is not a learn to swim lesson, this is a coaching clinic for swimmers who are looking to improve technique. Prior to booking an appointment with Chesna, please email aquatics@usfca.edu to confirm that you are water safe (lessons take place in 8 ft. water). Our staff will need to provide you access to her online schedule in order for you to access the online booking system.
Chesna grew up in San Francisco and USF Youth Swimming was her first swim team. Now, she attends Pitzer College in LA and swims DIII NCAA for Pomona-Pitzer. Her events include the 50, 100, and 200 Freestyle as well as the 100 Butterfly. Last year, she earned SCIAC All-Conference, NCAA DIII All-American, and CSCAA Scholar All-American awards. Chesna has previous experience swim instructing and coaching at the Bay Club SF, but now coaches for USF Youth Swimming. She enjoys helping swimmers build fundamentals in each stroke through drill work and technique tips to help swimmers become more efficient. Chesna always strives to have lessons be engaging and fun.
