Fitness and Sports (PE) For students entering grades 10 – 12 . High School credit will only be awarded to students who take this course when they are in rising grade 10 or higher. This course will be offered in-person at the BASIS Independent Silicon Valley Upper Campus. (1290 Parkmoor Ave, San Jose, CA 95126) Description Please note this course is IN-PERSON. This program focuses on learning technical skills in various sports. The students will rotate through a daily schedule that includes running, exercise, skill development, and competition. Throughout the summer, students will build confidence in their technique and play various sports. They will learn about the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork in all aspects of their training and physical play. By the end of the summer, the students will have learned proper mechanics, teamwork, sportsmanship, and high-level skills.
