In January of 2026, the History club will switch from American History to the history of the Middle East. We will start in the year 600 CE with the rise of Muslim control, continue through the 1200’s with the Mongols, the Crusades, and rise of the Ottoman Empire. As the class continues through subsequent quarters, we will follow the Ottoman empire through its rise, involvement in WW1, and its demise in 1920 with the development of the present set of countries.
