Are you interested in engineering or 3D design? The 3D Printing and Modeling for Engineering and Design Club gives you hands-on experience with 3D printing and CAD—important skills in today’s engineering and manufacturing fields. Members will learn how to use Onshape, a free and easy-to-access CAD program, to create their own 3D models. We’ll start by teaching the basics of Onshape and the engineering concepts behind good design. After that, members will get the chance to design and print their own projects. You’ll learn the full engineering process—from planning to modeling and manufacturing—while building practical skills along the way through hands-on projects. Note: members must bring a laptop.
