Students who stay in DECA for more than one year must take an additional CTE course such as Empowering Entrepreneurship. Description: DECA is a business and entrepreneurship career and technical services organization. DECA gives students the opportunity to learn about and compete in events related to Marketing, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality & Tourism, and Business Administration while networking with students throughout the world. Students compete solo or in groups of up to three people in various written, verbal, and/or online events. DECA fosters maturity and independence while allowing students to explore their interests in the business world.
