Learn how to program using one of the most popular and easiest languages, Python. The class will (mostly) follow the online book Automate the Boring Stuff with Python. It will cover all the basics, along with a few things that will hopefully be useful. On the final day, the students will vote on a topic of their choice. The class will use freely available tools that can be taken home, and a programming language that is available by default on almost every popular operating system.
