Description
This 40-hour course meets the POST requirements of PC 832 Arrest. Subject matter includes Criminal Law, Laws of Arrest, Search & Seizure, Use of Force, and Arrest and Control Techniques. Training includes classroom lecture and activities, as well as manipulative skills for Arrest and Control. Training will be eight (8) hours per day for five (5) days, and attendance is mandatory. Participants must be free from any injuries or restrictions. Enrollment must be canceled ten (10) days prior to the course start date to be eligible for a refund.NOTE: A Medical Clearance is required for this course. The clearance form will be e-mailed following registration or download the form at PC 832 Courses – Palomar College Police Academy. You may not begin the course without the completed medical clearance form.
This course is subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
