If you have a camera and want to learn how to photograph birds in your back yard this class will give you the knowledge to get started. In the first class, we will cover camera basics (DSLR and phone camera) and how to set up a feeder station. You will then go home and try your hand at capturing some of the feathered friends at your feeders. During the second class, we will share some of our photos, discuss successes and failures, and learn how to improve your backyards to attract seasonal visitors to your feeders all year long. Basic bird ID tools, native plant and shrub species to add to your yard, bird feeder types, and camera basics will be discussed. You do not need a fancy camera to capture some beautiful pictures.
