About this event
What does a What does a bunny, a dollhouse, and a footprint all have in common? They are all part of an unsolved crime! CSI Campers will solve crimes that would unravel any student and they only have 5 days to do it! Using several different cases, they will process mock crime scenes using “real world” techniques and equipment, and analyze evidence used in the forensic laboratory. Our young CSI’s will discover, Frances Glessner Lee, known as “mother of forensic science”, who created crime scene models or dollhouses to train law enforcement officials in forensic science. To add to the intrigue, CSI campers will play out the role of investigators, witnesses, and suspects as they work together to solve these crimes. As if being a new kid in 6th grade isn’t hard enough, you have been accused of stealing the class pet. Can you figure out whose footprint was left at the crime scene? Will you be able to find the real bunny thief, prove your innocence and save Honey the Bunny before it’s too late!
