Description

FamCamp® is an award-winning camping access program that provides no cost campsites and equipment for community use. Since 1994, FamCamp® has provided opportunities for over 22,000 Californians to experience California State Parks and camp for the first time. Families will participate in cooking, learning campfire safety, tent assembly, and good old fashion outdoor fun. Each family member has to be registered. Up to 5 people.

Families will be provided with tents and sleeping bags with liners. Staff will help facilitate family cook out meals, fun activities, and outdoor camping education. Families are encouraged to bring their own extra snacks, reusable water bottles and additional water, sunscreen, bug repellant, layered clothing for cool nights and warm days, and a hat. Family's must stay in the program for the entire time of the camp out unless otherwise notified by staff. Opportunity for down time will be given so families can relax in their tent or explore the camp site. Every member of the family has to be registered.
