This class is for adult beginner with 3-6 months of existing lifetime tennis experience. Focus on improving technique and moving towards "live play" through drills and games.

Prerequisite Skills

Players should meet the following criteria:

• Know the basic form of groundstrokes, volleys, and overheads but not yet aware or able to consistently use correct technique
• Not yet rallying consistently from the baseline
• Free evaluation on weekends at Santa Monica High School- contact Debbie at 310-430-1962

• Players must bring a tennis racquet and wear non-marking shoes

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
