Description

This class is for intermediate players looking for an opportunity to focus on improving consistency, footwork, technique and skill development through fast paced drills and games for intermediate adult recreational players.

PREREQUISITE: Players should be able to hold a 10-20 ball rally with a peer, should know the basic form of groundstrokes, volleys and overheads, and should be starting to hit with and return balls with pace and consider strategy and positioning. Typically, this class will incorporate games like liveball and 105 once warmup and drills are completed.

Players must bring a racquet to class and wear non-marking shoes

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
