Does your dog hate nail trims?  Are you having trouble grooming your dog or administering medication?  Join us for an Introduction to Cooperative Care workshop, where we'll discuss how to build your dog's trust and comfort level during husbandry procedures, skills you can teach to help with grooming or medication administration, and why letting our dogs "opt out" during body handling can improve their confidence. This is a group workshop and there will be other dogs and people in close proximity - we want to make sure that you and your classmates have a safe and enjoyable experience. If your dog will be over threshold in a class setting (barking, lunging, biting, shut down, refusing food, hypervigilant, etc) this might not be a good fit right now. Class Details:  -Prerequisites: Recommended completion of It's Elementary 1 or similar - Proof of current rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella required.
