This 50 hour course prepares participants to work in home health care or residential settings. Personal care, communication skills, observing, reporting and documentation are taught. How to provide care safely and deal with emergencies, consumer rights, aging and illness are additional topics covered in the class. CASAS Reading scores of 220 or above are required.
