Description
Join us for exercises to maintain independence and prevent falls! While much of the focus will be on strengthening the core and maintaining core strength, this class will also offer exercises to help seniors to walk better and prevent falls. The class will also offer exercises and strategies to help you get back up, in case you do fall. This class will be done sitting or using the chair as a prop for standing exercises.
Please note: Students must be able to stand easily in the middle of the classroom, without using anything for support. Students who need a chair or the wall to do balancing exercises, such as standing on one leg, standing on an uneven surface, or bouncing a ball while walking, should sign up for the Level 1 classes. Students who do not meet this criteria may be asked to move to another class.

PLEASE BRING HAND SANITIZER TO CLASS FOR YOUR PERSONAL USE. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO USE THE COMMUNITY MATS, BLOCKS, RESISTANCE STRAPS PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN.
