Description

Have you been gazing longingly at crochet stuffie patterns, endlessly scrolling through garment patterns, or feeling stuck trying to decipher crochet terminology? Join in on the fun and learn essential second step crochet skills as we tackle intermediate projects together as a class. This course will cover crocheting in the round, reading patterns, estimating how much yarn to purchase per project, and much more. Possible projects include: drawstring bags, hats, crochet bookmarks, and a basket to keep all our works in progress. The teaching artist will happily provide guidance on personal projects during class hours as well. To best engage with class materials, participants should be familiar with the slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet.
