Description

This is a beginning level class with no prerequisites required. While it is not a "chair yoga class" it will incorporate both seated in a chair, and standing beginning yoga poses, light hand weights for overall strength and toning of the legs and arms. We will utilize the ballet bar for additional balance and stretching movements. Grounded, on the floor, yoga poses will also be included. Students should be able to move about, getting up and down off the floor unassisted. Yoga mats, bolsters and blocks are provided.
