Instructor: Al Mitchell, Campus Security Officer Join us for an exciting and educational journey into the world of first responders - everyday heroes who protect and serve our communities! During this week-long program, campers will meet and work closely with professionals from key emergency response teams, gaining insight into their vital roles and responsibilities. Each day, campers will be introduced to a different first responder team, including 911 Call Center, Edgeworth Police, EMS, Hazmat, and the Sewickley Fire Department. Through hands-on activities and interactive lessons, campers will explore topics such as creating their own fingerprint copies, learning fire extinguishing safety techniques, and understanding how to properly contact 911 in an emergency. This camp offers a unique opportunity for young learners to develop an appreciation for the dedication and bravery of first responders while gaining practical skills that can make a difference in their own lives and their communities.
