Description

Experience Hammel Woods in a new and exciting way. Join a naturalist in a hands-on exploration of the creek. While visiting the habitats in and around the water, we’re sure to spot some interesting creatures. Using a hand lens and nets, investigate both the small and large wildlife we find. Meet at the parking lot at the far southern end of Hammel Woods – Route 59 Access. The hike will be less than 1 mile, and the activity will take place in water and on natural trails over uneven terrain.
