Description
The Nixon Library's permanent permanent gallery contains something for all ages, from an exact replica of the President's Oval office to an extensive exhibit commemorating his historic trip to China. The museum features multimedia experiences, original film sequences, more than 600 photographs and more than 300 artifacts. Current special exhibit: The Ancient World - Unlocking the Middle East. This exhibit examines the 20th century conflict and cold war tensions through prisms of ancient Israel, Persia and Egypt.*Lunch will be on your own at the Brea Plaza with restaurant choices of: Lucille's Southern BBQ, Panini Kabob Grill, Panera, Chix-fil-A & others.
*Participants may bring money for meal and souvenirs.
*Level of Walking: Easy, beautiful gardens: tour Army One, Nixon's presidential helicopter.
*Wear Comfortable shoes.
*Bus departs at 9:30 a.m. from the Hart Park House Senior Center at returns at 4:00 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure;
Registration starts today.
