This Introduction to Sailing course is designed for those with little to no sailing experience, and want a hands-on course to learn the fundamentals in a safe and fun environment. Learn important vocabulary, safety skills, weather awareness, steering, and sailing maneuvers. Course combines 6 hours of classroom instruction and 9 hours of on the water hands on sailing in which you’ll be sailing with instructors on 22’ - 34’ boats. Learn the knowledge and skills necessary to safely start sailing. Classroom location is iWerx, 7001 North Locust Street, Gladstone, MO 64118.
