About this event
To maintain licensure, the Class “G” license holder must complete four hours of re-qualifying training EACH YEAR. The annual training course shall consist of a review of the curriculum topics listed above as part of the initial training requirements to include any recent changes in the law. License holders will be required to achieve a passing score on a cycle of fire consisting of 48 rounds. A certified instructor is present for the training. **There is an additional charge to qualify with a second weapon. What You Need to Wear & Bring to the Class: Your firearm and duty gear, as long as they are in good working order. The equipment will be inspected and approved by a firearms instructor before it can be used during the class. Factory ammunition for your firearm (at least 150 rounds). Hip (duty) holster for your weapon. Long pants. No low cut or sleeveless shirts/blouses. During the class you may wear jeans or other casual attire. No shirts with offensive slogans or advertising. Protective eyewear. Bibbed hat/baseball cap – for protection from flying brass on the firearms range from semi auto weapons. Comfortable footwear, no open toe shoes or sandals. Fluids to drink for recovery hydration – for outdoor range training. Wet weather gear, since classes will be held rain or shine. Any snacks that you may require. Sun block & bug spray.
