Adventure is calling! Voyagers: Camp, Connect, Conquer! is a 3-week hands-on Therapeutic Recreation program designed to prepare participants for an exciting tent camping trip the weekend before Thanksgiving at Oscar Scherer State ParkThroughout the program, our Voyagers will learn essential camping skills, including planning and shopping for the trip, assembling tents, and practicing campfire building and fire safety. Each participant will gain confidence and independence as they prepare to set up and sleep in their own tent—no cabins on this trip! This program promotes teamwork, problem-solving, and outdoor readiness, all while having fun and making new friends.
Please note: Attendance at all classes is required in order to participate in the camping trip.
