About this event
About the Naturalist: Jeremiah Psiropoulos is a professional wildlife biologist with 15 years of experience. After more than a decade with a federal agency, he decided to go into business for himself sharing his passion and enthusiasm for wildlife with others, and Antigone Wildlife Tours was born. Originally from Oregon, he now lives on a ranch in northwest Colorado, along with his wife Emily, her mother Penny, and their dog, Cricket. Join Jeremiah on this one-mile walk along a quiet section of the Yampa River Core Trail. Following along the riverbank, this route allows for beautiful views and close-up encounters with our avian neighbors. Along the way, Jeremiah will share information about the birds who call the Yampa Valley home and those migrating through the area. Potential or expected birds include: yellow warbler, bullock’s oriole, osprey, greater sandhill crane, willow flycatcher, cedar waxwing, lazuli bunting, western wood-pewee, broad-tailed hummingbird, and many more.
