Drawing is the oldest form of written communication and is easily a favorite leisure activity. If you've caught yourself doodling, you are indeed drawing. In class we'll learn how to set up a good drawing composition using techniques such as shading, texture, and perspective. We'll experiment with different drawing materials so you can see which ones you like the best (or the least). Creation of landscapes and still lifes will be part of this class. All supplies will be provided. This is a beginner's class. Students should bring a $12 supply fee made payable to the instructor. The registration deadline for this course is September 30th.
