MOEMS is a wonderful opportunity for our students to challenge their mathematical skills and engage in friendly competition with peers. Dec 17 Wednesday 3. Jan 15 Thursday 4. Feb 12 Thursday 5 .March 12 Thursday MOEMS® provides monthly problem-solving contests for elementary and middle school students. We offer two divisions; the Elementary division is for grades 4, 5 and 6, and the Middle School division for grades 6, 7 and 8. You may enroll up to 35 students per team. We provide five monthly contests with detailed solutions (5 questions each). The unique problem sets must be administered each month from November through March. We provide all 50 problems and detailed solutions from the previous two years We provide a MOEMS® awards package which includes: (Click here to see awards) Certificates for all students One Highest Individual Scorer medal Award patches for about 50% of all top participating students Silver pins for top 10% and gold pins for the top 2% of scores Gold pins for the top 2% of all scores George Lenchner Medallion for a perfect score Non-Institute teams may earn a team plaque MOEMS® (OnPaper) should be administered to all students on the same day, in the same place, at the same time.
