Mountaineer Days is an annual celebration in the Mountains of WV. The 5k run/ 2k walk is a proud part of a weekend of fun. Come and run through the historic town of Thomas, WV. and finish the evening with fireworks.

Mountaineer Days 5k run/ 2k walk. July 5, 2025. You will run/ walk through the historic town of Thomas, WV during the Mountaineer Days festival. The course will start near the Fire Department in Thomas, WV. You will run through the town of Thomas and finish on the rail trail below the fire hall. The race will start at 8am.
