Our after-school math program for Grades 3 and 4 strengthens core math skills while encouraging critical thinking and teamwork through interactive, hands-on activities. Each session kicks off with an engaging lesson to develop key concepts, followed by a collaborative challenge or game designed to spark curiosity. Discussions at the end of each class connect math to real-world applications, helping students see its practical value. Participants refine their addition and subtraction abilities, tackle multi-digit problem-solving, and work through word problems. They also deepen their understanding of multiplication, division, and place value, practice rounding with whole numbers and decimals, and explore geometry by identifying and classifying shapes. The program wraps up with an exciting group project where students design unique bingo games based on different math topics. Led by Alex or a team of experienced educators, the program ensures expert instruction in a supportive, engaging environment. The curriculum is approved by certified Ontario teachers.
