CREATE: Session A (Grade 9/10) | From Concept to Production: Sustainable Product Design

University of Toronto • 35 St. George Street TorontoONCanada  M5S 1A4 Organized by Engineering Outreach, University of Toronto

About this event

Have you ever been fascinated by the process of how everyday products, from the shoes on your feet to the car you drive, are made? If you've ever wondered how the machines that make our daily essentials like cars, planes, and even pizza ovens operate, then this is the course for you! You'll learn about Manufacturing Engineering, which is the process of turning an idea into a physical product that people can use. If you've ever watched and loved shows like 'How It's Made', 'Factory Made', or 'Food Factory', then you'll find this course equally exciting! You'll dive into the fundamentals of manufacturing and explore its relationship with the engineering industry. By the end of the course, you'll have a deep understanding of the manufacturing process, and you'll be able to create and design your own products from start to finish.
