About this event

Description

Internet Registration has not begun yet. Check Registration Dates in details.

Expand your stylistic parameters and learn classic Motown tunes on the ukulele. You'll not only be learning timeless soul and R&B tunes, but also improving your playing skills and be adding to your repertoire with some iconic rhythm & blues and soul songs. Then, with practice and determination, you'll be playing songs by legendary artists such as The Four Tops, The Temptations, The Jackson 5, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, and others.

Pre-requisite: Yes You Can Play The Ukulele (or similar intro class or be self-taught and ability to play at least 7 chords and transition between them).

Please bring: Soprano, concert or tenor uke (no baritone ukes, please) along with a pick and a uke capo to each class. And if you have a portable music stand or book holder, bring that, too. Sorry, no loaner instruments are available.
